Template License Agreement

KILL VANILLA STUDIO

By purchasing a Squarespace template from KILL VANILLA STUDIO, you are purchasing a license to use the design, not ownership of the design itself. All templates and associated materials remain the intellectual property of KILL VANILLA STUDIO.

1. License Type, Single Use

Each template purchase grants a single-use license.

You may use the template for:

  • One personal website, or

  • One client website

If you intend to use the same template for more than one website, additional licenses must be purchased.

Templates are delivered directly into your Squarespace account as a new website. They cannot be merged into an existing site. You are responsible for adding your own content, imagery, and any customisations required for your project.

2. Usage Restrictions

You may not:

  • Resell, redistribute, sublicense, or share the template or any included materials.

  • Claim the design, layout, structure, or visual system as your own work.

  • Repurpose the template or any part of it to create competing templates, marketplaces, or derivative products.

  • Share access to the template files, assets, guides, or tutorials.

All supporting materials including guides, videos, graphics, PDFs, and resources are provided for your own reference only.

3. Designer Credit Requirement

Credit must remain visible on any live website built using a KILL VANILLA STUDIO template.

This credit acknowledges that the template was designed by KILL VANILLA STUDIO and must not be removed, hidden, or altered unless a white label license has been purchased.

4. White Label License (For Web Designers & Studios)

If you are a web designer, developer, or studio and wish to use our templates for client work without visible credit, you must purchase a white label license.

The white label license fee is £350 per template.

The white label license allows you to:

  • Remove KILL VANILLA STUDIO credit from client websites.

  • Use the template commercially for client delivery under your own brand.

The white label license does not allow you to:

  • Resell or distribute the template itself.

  • Use the template as the basis for your own template products or marketplaces.

  • Share or transfer template files outside of your licensed usage.

If you use a template for client work without purchasing the white label license, you are in breach of these terms.

5. Intellectual Property

All templates, designs, layouts, graphics, and supporting materials remain the exclusive intellectual property of KILL VANILLA STUDIO.

Unauthorised use, reproduction, distribution, or misrepresentation of ownership is strictly prohibited. Legal action may be taken in the event of infringement.

Your purchase grants you permission to use the template under the terms outlined above. It does not transfer copyright or ownership.

6. Disclaimer

Templates are provided as-is. KILL VANILLA STUDIO is not responsible for platform changes, third-party integrations, Squarespace updates, or technical conflicts that may affect performance or functionality over time.

7. Agreement

By purchasing and using a KILL VANILLA STUDIO template, you agree to comply with these license terms. Breaches may result in revoked access and further action where necessary.

Support Policy

Your template purchase includes 3 months of template-related support from the date of purchase.

Support includes:

  • Questions specifically related to installing and using your template.

  • Clarification on included features and setup guidance.

Support does not include:

  • General Squarespace troubleshooting unrelated to the template.

  • Custom design work, coding changes, or business strategy advice.

  • Platform education outside the scope of the template.

Support is provided via email. Response times are typically within 3 business days (Monday to Friday), subject to workload.

If you require hands-on help or support outside this scope, additional support can be booked at an hourly rate.
